Important Message for Vendors and Contractors

Your attention is drawn towards the following Insurance schemes launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India: 

1. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojna (PMSBY) 

2. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojna (PMJJBY) 

As the schemes are of National importance, all contractual workers should be encouraged to join the schemes and avail the benefits. In this regard Chairman, Railway Board has sent a letter to all General Managers of Indian Railways, covering the salient features of the schemes, and urging them to ensure maximum possible coverage of contractual workers under the scheme.
