Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) Refund Process on IREPS website

As a vendor or contractor, you have to pay the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for a tender to submit the financial bids. You may pay the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amount online through NetBanking, Debit Cards, Credit Cards etc.

But after tender box opening if the tender not awarded to you then Railway will refund the full amount of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) which you have paid for the tender.

Refund Process:

If tender not awarded to you then EMD amount will be returned to you. For reversal/refund of the EMD amount, you need to contact the concerned railway department which published the tender. 

Currently, EMD refund process is manual and time is taken in EMD refund process totally depends on the concerned railway department.
